Eventfully Yours has several goals and visions to move forward, short-term and long-term. From its beginning, we have sought to create beautiful events and weddings to any client that crosses our path. So, take a look at some of the ways we want to grow and progress throughout this crazy world. Short-term Goals: When we first started Eventfully Yours, our first goal was to provide our clients with a stressful event planning process that brought their vision to life. Meeting with vendors and creating events can be a stressful endeavor, we get it. (See 6 Mistakes To Avoid When Planning Your Event/Wedding) Eventfully Yours seeks to take the stress out of it and maintain the headache-causing pieces involved. We also love to see the dreams of our clients come true. By that, we mean, that the floral arrangements were made and delivered perfectly, and the caterer brought the right hors d'oeuvres. Every piece to the puzzle has been placed; every part of the mosaic has been put together and a beautiful work of art has been made. We strive to work our very hardest to bring about your vision and every idea you desire. Along with making your event dreams come true, Eventfully Yours has set a goal to create great relationships with each one of our clients. You will never be dollar signs to us; we will take the time to get to know you and understand your goals in the event. We would love to be friends with you and be able to use our God-given talents to make your event perfect.

To the one feeling overwhelmed by event planning, We know that at this moment you are probably feeling overwhelmed by a mix of emotions such as confusion, anger, excitement, and nervousness. The event date is coming soon, the caterer has a million questions, and the florist will not respond to emails. Event planning is stressful and frustrating. There is a reason that certain individuals devote their time and money into learning, experiencing, and adding to the event planning world in order to benefit the overwhelmed hosts. So take the next few minutes to read, relax, and recharge with these tips to remember when "in the trenches".
First, your vendors have been hired to do a job. Let them do what they are being paid to do. If you have found reputable, professional vendors, then there should be no worries that these individuals will work to the best of their ability for make your day great. Take one stressor off your shoulders. Secondly, it is never wrong to ask questions, especially when it comes to contracts. Sometimes people will try to add in the rules or regulations that are not legal or morally right. Do not get stuck in a legal battle. So please, ask questions and receive clarification. Also, keep your event planner involved in the contract process; they are trained to find red flags in contracts and can help you avoid problems. Lastly, enjoy your day! The day will fly by; take in every moment and make memories. You do not want to miss the hilarious conversation with your grandparents or doing the chicken dance with your nieces and nephews. Relax, and trust that you have done the work necessary to bring your dream together. The last job to complete is to enjoy it. And, as always, Eventfully Yours would be delighted to help in any way possible, so feel free to contact us! Sincerely, Eventfully Yours 1. Buying Over Renting Don’t get me wrong, I like utilizing fancy linens or sparkling chandeliers as much as the next guy. We all love pieces we don’t already own. And every reputable vendor has a great stock of the most amazing items, it could make your head spin. However, when it comes to planning an event, one must be careful not to buy an item they “can’t live without”. Although it may seem like the best option for your event, it is not a smart move. I know rental agreements are frustrating, but it has nothing on the headache of needing extra storage, paying more, and dealing with only one-use of that item. It is much easier to rent the pieces and return them after the event than to buy 60 chair covers and have no use for them. 2. Not Setting A Budget Whether a budget is simply or crazy difficult for you, it is ideal when planning an event. You may step in not knowing at all how much each idea you have is going to cost, so budgeting may seem like an unnecessary hassle. Event budgeting is a procedure that your event planner should have tackled, and you should do your best to make their lives easier and knowing how much you want to spend. It will also help you to weed out the vendors or ideas you cannot afford to accomplish and make what you can afford the best it can be. Some vendors will be out of your price range and that’s alright. 3. Signing A Contract You Don't Understand
Unless you are a lawyer, you probably don’t like to read contracts (or may not even then). They are confusing, difficult, you name it….and necessary. But, for the protection of yourself and your guests, it is useful to have at least a basic understanding of them before signing. No one wants to be suckered into terms for which they do not agree. So save your self the pain and read or ask your event planner to help you understand the contract before signing. We have reached the end of our newest set of installments of Event Venue Highlights (for now). But we're not done yet, we have another beautiful venue featured that is perfect for your next event. This venue has also been chosen for its uniqueness, appearance, and atmosphere and has great potential to create the amazing vision you have for your event. Eventfully Yours would love to work with you at any of these locations and make your event absolutely incredible! ![]() The Woodlands Mansion in Summerville is a perfect venue for a beautiful wedding, formal corporate meeting, or any other event need imaginable. From 1906, the Woodland Mansion has been a beacon of joy and light for the community. It started as a family home for Robert Parsons and his family. During the Second World War, it was a place of entertainment for servicemen to come to and hold on to joy during such dire circumstances. The site held lavish parties which included dancing, singing, and even roller skating! How appropriate that it would remain a site for gorgeous events and gatherings today! “This rebirth allows Woodlands to continue its long and storied history of intimate gatherings and grand celebrations.” There are so many unique aspects of this venue; I am not going to go too in-depth with each of them, but here are a few:
